Above the line statistics allow the public manager to evaluate the results of the current fiscal policy by means of a detailed and ample Picture of the country's fiscal situation. This set of information constitutes an essential toolkit for public policy decision making.

In November 2021, the primary result of the Central Government, at current prices, was a surplus of R$ 3.9 billion against a deficit of R$ 18.3 billion in november 2020. In real terms, net revenue grew R$ 5.6 billion (+4.4%), while total expenditure decreased by R$ 18.5 billion (-12.7%), compared to november 2020
